Dr. Myers dreamed of becoming a dentist at the age of five. Born and raised in Panama City, he graduated from Bay High School, Gulf Coast Community College and majored in chemistry at the University of Florida. His love of art combined with the science and technology of dentistry stimulated him to pursue his childhood dream and he received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in 1980. Married in 1976 to his high school sweetheart, he and Mary Jo returned to Panama City Beach where he began to serve as the Beach’s first dentist. They have two sons, Stephen who is working toward a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Jordan is a practicing attorney in Atlanta. It has been a pleasure for Dr. Myers to serve his home town and watch the continual growth of the area.
